Sarah’s Experience

Sarah has worked with many growing companies as interim head of HR.  Additionally she serves as a strategic advisor to several CEOs and board chairs.  Prior to starting Magnet, Sarah spent eight years in the venture capital industry. She was portfolio advisor and Chief People Officer at S32 (Section 32) and prior to that was Partner and Chief People Officer at Third Rock Ventures.  She served on the board of Thrive Earlier Detection and was a member of the Compensation Committee.  She was SVP, Human Resources at Foundation Medicine from 2010 - 2016.  She joined Foundation Medicine at its founding as the company's second employee and helped grow the team to over 600 people.  Prior to Foundation Medicine she served as head of HR at CombinatoRx and she also spent 7 years working in the staffing industry at a staffing agency.
